THE SUN IS COMING BACK WHEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!
Also the eclipse yesterday was pretty nifty -- it clouded up right after totality, but I got to see the shadow and then more shadow and then the creepy red hey-it-got-dark-out-here part, so I think it was a fairly complete Eclipse Experience.
Also I am now Off Work for the Holiday and all prepared to finish my Christmas shopping tomorrow!
And today and yesterday both someone brought ENORMOUS PILES of cookies to work! So I ate at least one of most kinds! And have been running entirely on sugar for two days!
And I went climbing just now and I did my first 5.10b, yay! And a 5.10a, or maybe two, I forget, and some 5.9s, including the one I couldn't get last time I tried it that is all about climbing up over sticky-out bits and is, it turns out, EVIL.
And now I have veggie sticks and hummus and yogurt dip!
So life is pretty good!

Date: 2010-12-22 06:47 am (UTC)I'm sad that I didn't know about the eclipse. I would have stayed up, I think. Brooks' post was good, though, and nudged me towards my own turn of the year thinking.

Date: 2010-12-22 07:04 am (UTC)Aw, I mentioned the eclipse to Alex when I was out walking the dog, because I was pleased it seemed to be clearing a bit. Pity he didn't pass that on.
