I saw something about that today, too -- here. That link has a bit more biology-technical information; in particular, without oxygen, they don't have mitochondria, and have something else instead.

I'm glad you posted this; when I first saw the link, I thought this was just something in the a-few-cells level of multicellular, not a full proper millimeter-long animal with tentacles and everything!
