Chicken Coop: Renovated!

The chicken coop is done! Long live the chicken coop!

It better live long, because if I have to renovate it again I am tearing it down and redesigning it from the ground up with different materials entirely.

Now if only there were chickens to live in it. I hope it doesn't have to sit empty until next spring.

an acquaintance on facebook is taunting me with offers of quail. we like quail eggs! i do not think my yard is the size of the footprint of my house, though, and hell if i am having quail as housepets.

What do you do with quail eggs? I mostly bake with eggs, and I am just trying to imagine the conversion factor that is 1 large chicken egg in quail eggs. Would make it easier to do half recipes of some things!

hardboiled! i haven't yet tried tea eggs with them, although i suspect that would also be good. i hear scrambled is good, too.
